Team Ingenuity in HongKong

Team Ingenuity went to HongKong for a little stroll in the Asian winter wonderland. (Winters in HongKong could reach temperatures as low as 12-10 degrees Celsius.) It was a working trip for June and Mancio, and a semi-working trip for CEO John as he was asked to make a bit of a presentation at that conference where the guys were to work at.

The girls, sensing an opportunity for a little shopping and a whole lot of R&R, naturally tagged along. Present were CFO Jaja, HR Officer Gik, and Marketing Consultant Lelit. We stayed for almost a whole week, from December 2nd to 7th.

The Ingenuity Team took HK by storm (no pun intended! as it did kinda rain for the first few days and while we were away, Typhoon Pablo touched down and caused a devastation in Davao Oriental). It was a whole lot of fun seeing new sights, experiencing new things, and being in a new, very wonderful place with the people you work with. It makes you know each other a little bit better. We look forward to the day when all the other members of the team could come the next time there's a travel opportunity! I could only imagine how fun that would be!

Enjoy the pix! :)

Repitching to Venture Capitalists

With the delicious buzz of the Start-Up Weekend still freshly affecting their mood, the different teams who pitched in SW Davao last November 9, 2012 did not think twice in re-pitching their offspring ideas to venture capitalists.

This went down last November 24, 2012 at the Ingenuity HQ Training Room. Once again, the people behind the SW Davao were the ones who organized this follow up activity so that the iron will be stricken whilst still hot, so to speak. Full-on support was also given by ICT Davao, as ICT VP Bert Barriga, and other Davao IT denizens were there as well, like Raf Vlummens, and others.

The Start Up Weekenders were only too happy to re-pitch as they understand the need to clinch venture capitalists to fund their projects. In the process, they were able to refine their pitches, hone their presentation and people skills and also, they got to meet more and more people (not only IT kids, but other professionals in other fields as well) to add to their network.

What a productive way to spend the weekend!

These are only a few of the pix. More photos after the jump!
